​In the summer of 1986, Dr. Diana Guthaner embarked on her goal of developing a private practice committed to advancing the early detection of breast cancer in the community and founded Northern California Women’s Imaging Center, also known as N.C.W.I.C. After more than 25 years of dedication, the practice has evolved into a state of the art women’s imaging center. Currently, the fundamental philosophy of individualized patient care continues to be actively practiced by both Dr. Guthaner and Dr. Jacob. Their passion for their profession is mirrored throughout the practice as evidenced in the high quality results and personal attention which have been the hallmark of the care at N.C.W.I.C.
